MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program helps prepare the next generation of clean energy workers by funding internships for students and recent graduates at Massachusetts clean energy and water innovation companies. There are three application periods - Fall, Spring, and Summer - and applicants are encouraged to actively reach out to participating organizations.

EDF Climate Corps Fellowship Program

Climate Corps seeks top graduate students with analytical and project management backgrounds who are excited to make an impact through smart energy and climate solutions. Since 2008, Climate Corps has placed over 1,100 fellows in host organizations, including American Red Cross, Google, Lyft, NYC Mayor's Office of Sustainability and TPG Capital. Applications are typically due in early December (early deadline) and early January (regular deadline).

Climatebase

Founded in 2020, Climatebase is an online platform focused on climate action that provides a jobs and internship opportunities, as well as a directory of organizations and an events directory.

Business for Social Responsibility

BSR is a global nonprofit organization that works with its network and other partners to build a just and sustainable world. BSR maintains a job listings section focused on CSR and Sustainability roles among its more than 250 member companies.

Sustainability Leads

Managed by WAP Sustainability Consulting, Sustainability Leads maintains a list of new sustainability-focused jobs across the United States.

Environmental Career Center

The Environmental Career Center provides employers and job seekers with comprehensive career, and staffing services in the environmental, sustainability, natural resources, energy, and green jobs sectors.

Sustainable Business

Launched in 1996, Sustainable Business is one of the oldest online job boards focused on "green" business.

Idealist

Idealist is a nonprofit organization that maintains an online platform for job, internship, and volunteer opportunities within the nonprofit sector, including corporate responsibility- and sustainability-focused organizations.

BU Connects

BU Connects is a new platform exclusively for Boston University alumni, students, faculty, and staff that brings Terriers together for personal and professional networking on a global scale. BU Connects includes a networking group focused exclusively on Sustainability.

Boston-Based Energy Companies

This Google Sheet of Boston-area energy companies is maintained by current Questrom students and is designed to serve as a starting point for students and alumni with a desire to understand the landscape of local companies.
