Reminder About Photography Requests for Club Events
Dear Graduate Club Leaders,
I hope you’re all doing well! As you continue planning amazing events for our Questrom community, I want to ensure you have the right support to capture and share those moments effectively.
If you are seeking professional photography through Questrom's MarCom office, all photography and social media requests must be included in your initial club event request form. This allows the MBA Center Community Engagement Team to coordinate with MarCom team to help source photographers and/or social media staff. Please do not reach out to MarCom or the social media team directly.
There are three ways to engage with Questrom MarCom for your event:
Professional Photography – If you would like to hire a professional photographer to capture a significant portion of your event, the photographer will provide a link for attendees and club leaders to access the photos. Clubs should expect to pay around $600 for a 2-3 hour event, but final pricing will be determined in a quote.
Social Media Coverage – If you would like a MarCom social media staff member to capture 4-5 photos of your event and post them to Questrom’s social channels, this can be arranged based on staff availability at no cost to the club.
MarCom-Supported Photography – If your event is a large-scale signature event that aligns with MarCom’s mission, an academic program, or an initiative they are actively working on (e.g., building a portfolio of photos/videos), MarCom may initiate collaboration with the MBA Center staff to coordinate covering the cost of a photographer.
We love seeing the creativity and impact of your events and we want to help set you up for success!
A few additional reminders:
Plan ahead – last-minute requests are difficult to accommodate, so be sure to include photography needs when submitting your event request at least 4 weeks in advance.
Be mindful of budget expectations – while some offices, like the Feld Center, generously support graduate club events related to career and alumni engagement, they should not be relied on to cover unexpected costs like photography.
We appreciate everything you do to bring exciting opportunities to the Questrom community and we’re here to support you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
