At least the President and VP of Finance from each club must attend to receive funding and the ability to register for the annual Graduate Club Fair. More officers and club advisors are welcome to attend but are not required.

If you have an extenuating circumstance, please email Joe Grande (jgrande@bu.edu) and QGC VP of Finance & Clubs, Michael Sitompul (sitompul@bu.edu), no later than Monday, July 21 at 9am. Presidents and VPs of Finance who are not able to attend will need to complete another training to ensure they receive the necessary information for a successful year ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing you later this month!

Confirm Access to Club Leadership Group
All registered graduate club leaders should have access to the Club Leadership group as of today on Questrom Common. This is where you’ll find important documents, the Club Leadership Handbook, training resources, and other tools that will help you lead your club effectively. This is also how you will recieve email communication like this one from the Community Engagement staff and QGC. Please take a few minutes to log in and confirm your access. Specifically, be sure to confirm your access to this page. If you don’t see the group listed or have any issues, let me know so we can get it resolved before the semester begins.
Start Exploring the Club Leadership Handbook
The Club Leadership Handbook is your go-to resource for everything you need to know about running a club at Questrom. It includes guidance on budgeting, event planning, approvals, marketing, policies, and more. I highly recommend reviewing it over the summer to get ahead on the year. You can find the link to the handbook on the Club Leadership page of Questrom Common or by clicking here.
Connect With Your Faculty/Staff Advisor
Each club is required to have at least one faculty or staff advisor to support your work throughout the year. While advisor involvement can vary, your advisor must agree to serve in this role. We are in the process of contacting the advisor listed on your re-registration to confirm their participation. Over the summer, we encourage you to connect with your advisor, especially if you’re planning events, treks, or initiatives that could benefit from their support or guidance.
Plan Ahead for Fall Semester Events
All club events, on or off campus, require a minimum of 4 week lead time for approval, especially those involving outside speakers, catering, or ticketing. Start thinking now about what events you'd like to host this fall. Early planning gives you the best chance of securing your preferred dates, spaces, and support. More info will be shared about this at the Club Leader Training.
Celebrate summer with your Questrom MBA community at our annual networking night at Cornwall’s! This casual, high-energy evening is the perfect opportunity to connect with incoming students, current Part-Time MBA & Full-Time MBA students, and alumni from across the years.
This event is FREE and includes light appetizers and one drink ticket per attendee. Doors open at 6:00pm. Come ready to reconnect, relax, and expand your network. We’ll see you there!
