PEMBA Case Competition

This year our client is a Biotech firm based here in Boston. Teams of 4 will take a multi-disciplinary approach to solving the firm's problem. The case will involve analytical acumen, strategic thinking and practical implementation. (In other words, you don't need to be an expert in Biotech but instead, a variety of talents on your team is useful!). During these 2 days you will get to know other PEMBAs, be intellectually challenged, have coaches question your assumptions and make you think deeper than you would have done otherwise, present in front of challenging judges forcing you to think on your feet and have the chance to sell your ideas to senior management. First place winners get $2000. Second place wins $500.

December 3rd - December 10th: Sign ups (EventBrite will be sent on December 3rd). There will a limited number of teams of 4 accepted (first come first serve). PEMBAs get priority but, we will open it up to FTMBAs if there are slots left. If you are an individual who is looking for a team, let me know and I'll do my best to connect you. Find your teams now!
January 17th: 5:45pm: Case competition training. This will be EchoLectured and Livestreamed but we recommend at least one member per team attend.
January 23rd: 5pm: Case is released to participants giving you time to think through the issues and how you might want to attack it. Note: the competition does not begin until Friday morning.
January 25th: Kick off at 8:30am; teams work throughout the day with coaches available in the afternoon.
January 26th: 9am: First round presentations to judges
January 26th 2pm: Finalists present to client
