In concert with dedicated MBA student leaders, the national office of the Adam Smith Society underwrites and helps to coordinate exclusive events that give graduate business students and alumni access to prominent business leaders, academics, journalists, and public officials. Speakers discuss their experiences and offer insights about the connections between successful businesses, free institutions, and a robust civil society. The Adam Smith Society also convenes regional, national, and international programming for student and professional members. The Cohort Cup is a club that provides social and competitive events for all students in the FTMBA and PEMBA programs, including sports tournaments, cohort outings, and the annual talent show. Most importantly, it builds the community and allows students to get to know their classmates outside of an academic setting.

For the 2024-2025 school year, Cohort Cup events are open to all FTMBA and PEMBA students; however, FTMBA cohorts will compete against each other (Arlington vs. Beacon vs. Congress vs. Dalton), while PEMBA cohorts will compete against each other (Newbury vs. Hanover vs. Lansdowne vs. Boylston).

Cohort Q is the LGBTQ+ student organization for the Boston University Questrom School of Business graduate programs. Our mission is to unite LGBTQ+ students and allies through networking, social connection, and open dialogue on queer and trans issues in the workplace. We are committed to challenging systems of exclusion and advocating for the rights, visibility, and wellbeing of sexual and gender minorities within the business school. Cohort Q pushes for institutional change and cultivates a culture of equity, belonging, and liberation for all students.

Questrom Graduate Students of the African Diaspora (GSAD) is an all-inclusive group open to all Questrom graduate students (full-time MBA, PEMBA, MSMS, MSMF, and future graduate programs). The mission of the club is to bring representation to Questrom graduate students of the African Diaspora and to host events that stimulate Questrom-wide discussions related to this population in the US and around the world while having fun. GSAD helps promote recruitment efforts of students of the African Diaspora and helps bring a more diverse student population to Questrom, adding to the global and cultural education of every Questrom graduate student. The club promotes awareness of cultural diversity, with the goal to give more voice to this underrepresented group. The club also encourages the participation of those who may not be of African descent, but have an interest in, and want to gain an understanding of, the African Diaspora.
